These Business Terms of Use (“Business Terms”) apply to all users who access or use the Playful Pineapple platform in a business capacity, including but not limited to event hosts, promoters, venue operators, and brand representatives (“Business Users”). By creating or using a business account on Playful Pineapple, you agree to comply with these Business Terms, as well as our general Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Definitions

1.1 Business Account – a user account designated as a business or promotional profile.
1.2 Content – event listings, images, posters, branding, descriptions, and other media uploaded by Business Users.
1.3 You / Your – refers to the individual or legal entity operating a Business Account.

2. Applicability of General Terms

2.1 These Business Terms supplement the Playful Pineapple Terms and Conditions, which apply to all users.
2.2 In the event of a conflict between these Business Terms and the general Terms, these Business Terms will take precedence for business-related activities.

3. Use of Business Accounts

3.1 Business Accounts may be used to:
  1. Upload lifestyle-related promotional content
  2. Create and manage events
  3. Interact with users in a professional or community-building capacity
3.2 Business Accounts must not be used to:
  1. Share misleading or false promotional material
  2. Engage in harassment, spam, or unsolicited messaging
  3. Breach any applicable laws or platform rules

4. Branding, Logos, and Fairness

We welcome business users who work with or are affiliated with other lifestyle platforms. You will not be penalised for collaborating with other brands - our only aim is to maintain fairness and prevent the Playful Pineapple platform from being used to promote or advertise competitor services.

4.1 Business Users must not upload any content that visibly features logos, branding, or promotional references to competitor platforms. This includes:
  1. Event posters, photos, or graphics that display competitor names or logos
  2. Photos featuring sponsored backdrops, signage, or watermarks linked to other lifestyle platforms
  3. Any media that could be reasonably interpreted as advertising for a competing service
If competitor branding appears in content (e.g. in a backdrop), it must be fully obscured or blurred before being uploaded. You may use the in-app blur tool for this purpose. Unaltered images that include competitor branding will not be permitted.

This policy helps protect the neutrality of the platform and avoids unintended promotion of other services.

4.2 You are free to promote your events and partnerships however you choose outside Playful Pineapple. While it’s not required, we always appreciate it when Playful Pineapple is acknowledged in external promotions.

4.3 We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines or that we determine promotes external platforms inappropriately.

4.4 Promotional Activity and Spam Prevention
Business Users are welcome to promote their events and services on Playful Pineapple. However, promotional activity must be balanced and respectful of the community experience. You must not:
  1. Flood the newsfeed with repetitive or overly frequent promotional posts
  2. Use multiple accounts to amplify visibility
  3. Post irrelevant or non-contextual content purely for reach
We reserve the right to remove or restrict promotional posts we consider excessive, disruptive, or spam-like. This may include limiting post frequency, removing duplicate content, or temporarily disabling posting rights for your business account.

Our aim is to ensure the newsfeed remains a useful, engaging space for all users - not dominated by any one brand or voice.
5.1 You must have all necessary rights to use, display, and distribute the content you upload.
5.2 You are responsible for ensuring all images comply with our consent policies and do not infringe on any individual’s rights.
5.3 Explicit written consent is required to post any identifiable images of individuals.

6. Event Listings and the Lifestyle Calendar

6.1 The Lifestyle Calendar is a community directory created to help users discover publicly available lifestyle events. Inclusion in the calendar does not imply endorsement, recommendation, or affiliation by Playful Pineapple or Easton Tech Ltd.
6.2 We do not vet, moderate, or guarantee the quality, safety, legality, inclusivity, accessibility, or representational alignment of any events listed. Listings are informational only and are provided without warranties or representations.
6.3 You are responsible for ensuring that any events you promote via your Business Account are accurate, lawful, and appropriate for public visibility. You must promptly update or request removal of any inaccurate or outdated information.
6.4 Playful Pineapple may include publicly available events in the Lifestyle Calendar even if the relevant Business Account has been claimed or is under the control of the organiser. This allows us to maintain a complete and accessible community directory, regardless of whether the account holder actively posts their own events.

7. Suspension and Termination

7.1 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Business Accounts that violate these Business Terms or the general Terms and Conditions.
7.2 Repeated or serious breaches may result in permanent removal from the platform.

8. Liability and Indemnity

8.1 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Easton Tech Ltd and Playful Pineapple from any claims, losses, or damages resulting from your content or business activities on the platform.
8.2 We are not liable for the success, outcome, or user response to your events or promotions.

9. Changes to These Business Terms

9.1 We may update these Business Terms periodically. Where appropriate, changes will be communicated to active business users via email or platform notifications.

By using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
